Project Life ~ Week 6 ~ February 6 - 12

With my printer out of ink this week, I found it really hard to not just edit and print photos for PL daily.  I had to wait till I could go to Harvey Norman or whever to get them printed out.  It was really frustrating... and I am still waiting for the ink I ordered over a week ago to arrive! argh... I dont know how people handle being weeks behind, I can understand how it happens, but I found it horrible seeing all these blank spaces when I knew I had photos to print and stories to tell.

This week is VERY photo heavy so I am going to make a real effort next week to concentrate on journalling. I just hope the photos tell the story enough...

So heres Week 6:

I found this film strip template for Instagram through Pinterest and thought it was such a cool idea.  Will definately be printing in a bigger format when I can...

I made this 6x6 collage in Picasa and used these 6x6 American Craft Page Protectors as something different. I took these serious of photos as I love just watching Max playing with his cars and the concentration on his face. My favourite is the bottom left of course from when you ask him to show you his cool hair and he does his head tilt thinkg - classic :)

The kids got these bikes for Xmas and it was finally cool enough to take them out for a ride  - Maxie loved it and wasnt too impressed when we turned back to go home.  Just need to teach him how to peddle...

Sammy stayed over on Saturday night while Shell and Jack went to Mackay for cricket.  Was such a good time - Max loved having a big brother for the night but dont think Sam was so keen on having a little brother.  I took a screen shot of the blog and included it in this weeks layout.  Love seeing it come together.  Maxie helped me make some cupcakes earlier in the week.  He is turning into quite the chef... wish he would watch "My Kitchen Rules" with me :)

I found this picture on Pinterest and I love it - not sure what it is just I guess it just brings back memories. Love it!

I wanted to take notes of all the funny things Maxie has been saying during the week - love how colourful the journal card is which I had to print on photo paper.  Think it would have turned out better if I was able to type the journalling and the card on card stock - oh well... the last note is from the Saturday when I took the kids and whilst waiting to get some invites printed off.  One second he was next to me, the next thing he had gone.  I have never been so frightened in my life.  After about 20 mins and all these people helping me look for him, we had found him at Everyday Living and he did not care the wiser that we had lost each other.  I love him so much but omg he stresses me... he has no fear!

We tried giving Harps her first ever taste of Vegemite and she LOVED it - was just sucking it off the bread like crazy! Max was the same... you'd think the taste would be too strong but nope... my little vegemite kid :)

Definately another full on week in the Daly household. Be interesting to see what next week brings...

As inspired by Sharons blog, I'm sharing this post at Mom Creative and as she says its a great way to check out other layouts.

Please feel free to leave comments or criticism as I love any feedback - thanks for looking!
